There are a number of considerations taken into account for financial institutions when developing content and communications around each social site launch as well as on an ongoing basis. To start with, we provide a set of employee engagement guidelines from which numerous policies have been established. Years of experience working with financial institutions makes us intimately familiar with compliance logos, their required usage, and we draft disclosures for client approval regularly. Although we have found community financial institution social sites to be overwhelmingly positive in tone, there need to be controls in place to monitor for spam, offensive comments and other comments requiring a response. Another added safeguard with PWM is that clients approve all posts prior to placement.
