James Pannos

James Pannos, CFMP

President

Jim Pannos has been agency president and principal since 1994 and brings 25 years of bank marketing and sales experience to the firm and its clients.

Prior to joining the agency, Jim, a former community banker, held various positions in the industry, including regional branch administrator, director of sales and product development, director of mortgage origination and marketing director.

Jim is a financial industry expert. His wealth of knowledge is an added value we bring to our clients. Additionally, having once been in the shoes of bank marketing officers, he is sensitive to their needs and challenges. His ability to assimilate the expectations of community bankers with strategic and tactical deliverables has enabled the agency to be a leader in the New England bank marketing landscape for 17 years.

Jim has received the prestigious designation of Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) from the Institute of Certified Bankers, an affiliate of the American Bankers Association (ABA). He has recently spoken to the Maine Community Bankers Association and the New Hampshire Community Bankers Association on the powerful benefits of integrating social and interactive media into a bank’s marketing efforts. He is also a past president of the ABA Marketing Network New England Chapter and an honors graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University’s School of Management.

Joining Pannos-Winzeler Marketing with over 24 years of marketing, sales and management experience, Rick is skilled in creating effective, comprehensive marketing communication solutions for clients. His expertise in marketing planning and strategic thinking, combined with his ability to view the market from the customer’s perspective, makes Rick a valued addition to the client’s marketing team.

Rick began his agency experience in 1996 when he joined The Brodeur Group, a full service marketing company located in central New Hampshire. At The Brodeur Group, Rick handled national, regional and local commercial clients in the fields of financial services, health care, insurance, legal, manufacturing and retail. He also worked extensively with numerous non-profit organizations to create and execute social marketing and public awareness campaigns.

Prior to joining The Brodeur Group, Rick worked for 18 years at community banks in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Rick holds an MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. He served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy from 1971 to 1974, and is a Vietnam veteran.

Langdon Andrews

Langdon Andrews

Vice President for Financial Institutions Marketing

Langdon brings over 15 years of experience working with banks and credit unions. His experience working with retail bankers, marketing and IT along with expertise in retail design, traditional marketing and digital marketing have put him on the forefront of customer acquisition and branding best practices.

Before joining Pannos Winzeler he was Vice President of Business Development at Kiosk & Display, where he played a prominent role in defining trends, challenges and opportunities for financial services retailing.

Prior to joining Kiosk & Display, he was a Partner at Semaphore Inc. a retail design firm. His client work included Machias Savings Bank, Hanmi Bank, Beneficial Bank, Bank of Marin, Advantage Bank and Amalgamated Bank.

He has been published in the ABA Bank Marketing Magazine and spoken to diverse groups including the Texas Bankers Association and the New England Financial Marketing Association. Langdon is a graduate of the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management and President of the New England Financial Marketers Association. He attended Tufts University and graduated with a BA in International Relations in 1989. Prior to Tufts he served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he attained the rank of Sergeant.

Tara Hershberger

Media DIRECTOR

Tara is Director of Media and Public Relations. For the last nine years Tara has almost exclusively spent her time managing media and PR for financial institutions and now more than ever, social media. Her interactive-focused articles have been published in a variety of trade sources including the ABA Bank Marketing Magazine, Banker & Tradesman, and the New England Financial Marketing Association eNewsletter. In addition, she has spoken to numerous groups on the topic of social and interactive media.

Tara’s background includes eight years with WMUR-TV, New Hampshire’s largest television station, as Research Director where she analyzed and presented vast amounts of ratings data. Her next move was to manage the public affairs and marketing department for Elliot Health System, home to a 298 bed acute care facility and the largest provider of healthcare in Southern NH. There she developed a public relations campaign generating over $500,000 in free media coverage.

Tara holds an MBA from Southern NH University. She is an adjunct instructor for the university, where she authored and taught their first-ever Social Media Marketing Strategies graduate level online course.

Jay Bellemare

Jay has over 16 years of agency experience designing and managing websites, web-based e-commerce, print, broadcast and outdoor advertising, signage, merchandising systems and corporate identity projects. His expertise in creative conceptualization and planning, oversight of design and production to brand standards, project coordination and management through delivery, makes him ideally suited to handle all of a client’s creative needs.

Jay has experience with financial services, retail, industrial and manufacturing, health care, pharmaceuticals, high tech, non-profit and automotive sectors. He brings his strong commitment for outstanding client service to PWM. Jay’s dedication translates to client’s projects getting done on time and on target.

He is a graduate of Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire.

Michael Bouchard

Web Director

Michael holds degrees in both mechanical engineering and in graphic design. He is a lifelong learner and takes it upon himself to know as much as possible about all things web related. Michael plays the lead role in all online media and web development for the agency. His 6 years with Pannos-Winzeler Marketing and 14 years of experience in web development have played a pivotal role in advancing online and web-based services available to our clients.

Michael's background is diverse with experience in design and manufacturing of sign systems and environmental graphics, graphic design, design and programming of broadcast media, film production, book design, art direction, interactive media, web design, interface design and usability, project management, Flash animation and ActionScript, and web programming. He believes in a user centric approach to web design. He accepts challenges openly and gets the job done. Michael has completed projects for such notable clients as Liberty Mutual, WBUR Public Radio and Oxfam International.
